Dr. Smalley is an actuarial consultant at Madison Consulting Group and holds a bachelors degree in business administration from The Ohio State University. He also holds a masters degree in statistics and a doctorate of economics from Virginia Polytechnic and State University. Prior to joining Madison Consulting Group in 2003, he had four years of consulting experience at the Atlanta office of Tillinghast. Prior to Tillinghast he had three years of actuarial experience at NCCI. During his career, Dr. Smalley has worked in the areas of workers compensation, professional liability and homeowner lines of insurance.
